Albany County Fasteners
Brief
Albany Fasteners is a B2B-focused ecommerce retailer specializing in stainless steel and corrosion-resistant hardware for customers across construction, manufacturing, and maintenance. Their buyers rely on bulk ordering, precise product data, and a purchasing experience that’s fast, reliable, and repeatable.
WHY:
Albany Fasteners needed a modern, B2B feature-rich ecommerce system as they reached the end of their contract with Miva. Unhappy with their SEO positions from major speed issues on Miva, they NEEDED to make headway on their site speed, and fast.
Before coming to Irish Titan, their ecommerce platform was creating real friction: organic traffic had declined, checkout was cumbersome, and technical issues were limiting search visibility. Their catalog structure made product organization and navigation hard and the platform couldn’t support the high decimal precision required for pricing and weight, introducing risk where accuracy matters. To ensure business continuity and set the stage for future scalability, a replatform was necessary.
Irish Titan partnered with Albany Fasteners to launch a Shopware-based ecommerce solution, designed to remove key blockers, strengthen SEO fundamentals, and improve conversion performance.
HOW:
We replatformed on an agile, phased migration strategy. By focusing on core business-critical functions first, the approach minimized disruption, ensuring Albany transitioned smoothly to Shopware. The phased plan allowed Albany to hit critical deadlines, reduced risk, and expanded into catalog restructuring, SEO growth, and UX improvements.
WHAT:
We delivered their Shopware-based storefront that preserves Albany’s essential B2B features, integrates with their backend systems, and provides a familiar, but elevated shopping experience with light customization.
Future phases will layer in catalog architecture improvements, advanced navigation, performance optimization, and enhanced user experience, creating a scalable ecommerce platform ready to support long-term growth.
